ABOUT
Background:
Tom Roth played locally at Good Counsel High School in Maryland and in college at Shippensburg University in PA. He is the Developmental Commissioner for McLean Youth Basketball, Virginia Hurricanes AAU coach, MYB Select Girls coach and part-time trainer to 30+ local children. Over the past 20+ years, he has coached in Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland.

Coaching Style
His coaching style is all positive. Focuses include teamwork, dribbling with your head up, making the extra pass, help side defense, quick transitions, pick and rolls, passing and cutting, spacing on offense, screening away from the ball and proper shooting form.

Personal
Tom resides in Mclean with his wife and 2 daughters. Interests outside of coaching include playing basketball, running, and spending time outside with family.
